As part of our Total Rewards package, ADNA offers competitive benefits for employees. Benefits go into effect the first of the month following your date of employment (with the exception of 401(k) match and Profit Sharing, as noted below).
Medical : Our medical plan includes a variety of options, including Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs).
Basic Employee Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance: You are automatically given basic life/AD&D coverage.
Future Savings Plans
ADNA recognizes that saving for retirement is an important part of building long-term financial security. Depending on your workforce and level, ADNA offers plans to help you prepare for the future. The plans are intended to integrate with your personal savings and investment program as well as benefits available from Social Security to which both you and ADNA contribute.
401(k) and Match Savings Plan : New employees are eligible to contribute to a 401(k) account through payroll deductions, beginning on their first day of work.
The 401(k) accounts of eligible employees receive a matching contribution of $0.50 from ADNA for every $1 contributed by the employee, up to a maximum of 6% of the employee's annual salary. Employees age 21 or older will become eligible for the 401(k) match on the next entry date after completing 1 year of service. The entry dates for the 401(k) match are January 1 and July 1. You are always 100% vested in your own employee contributions; you will be 100% vested in the employer matching contributions after 3 years of service.
Profit Sharing : ADNA also may make discretionary profit sharing contributions to eligible employees on an annual basis, based on company performance. Employees age 21 or older are eligible to enter the plan on the next entry date upon completion of one year of service. The entry dates for the Profit Sharing Plan are September 1 and March 1.
Compensation
Compensation at ADNA includes two elements: Cash Compensation and Non-cash Compensation. Cash compensation is the cash income and rewards in your paycheck, including base salary, variable pay (bonuses and incentives), overtime pay and any other cash payments you may earn. Non-cash compensation includes ADNA miles acquired through working overtime etc. ADNA's compensation philosophy is geared towards providing competitive rewards to all employees and “above market” rewards to top performing employees. The latter category of rewards includes variable pay and higher merit base pay increases.
Variable pay is a form of cash compensation, usually offered as a percentage of a base salary, paid in the form of a one-time bonus. This type of compensation is short term in focus and is usually paid soon after the end of each fiscal year for results achieved during that year. In line with our intention to provide greater rewards to our highest performers, variable pay is now linked to individual performance, so all those eligible with the highest performance ratings have the opportunity to receive higher payouts and those with the lowest performance ratings may not receive any variable pay.
In the Consulting and Enterprise workforces, executives are eligible for the Global Variable Pay program, which is a cash payment plan linked to both company and individual performance. Non-executives in the Consulting and Enterprise workforces are eligible for the Individual Performance Bonus program, which is linked only to individual performance.
The approach for variable pay in the Services workforce varies based on the unit to which employees are assigned.
Work/Life and Professional Growth
ADNA offers additional benefits to its employees, to help round out the work-life balance that ADNA encourages employees to maintain, as well as acquire and further develop professional skills.
Paid Time Off
In addition to standard benefits, ADNA offers a Paid Time Off (PTO) program to help our employees in the United States achieve a work/life effectiveness. PTO encompasses traditional vacation time along with paid personal time off and sick leave. This approach provides the flexibility to manage how, when and for what purpose your time off is taken based on your own work/life needs and priorities.
